Own It.

Letting go is such a challenge in itself, but getting over it and healing from it could be just as challenging, if not harder.  People always say to keep yourself occupied to take your mind off the situation, but I personally think it’s so much more effective to just let it out as it comes.  Be down; be pathetic; be dismal; be angry; you have every right to.  You’re supposed to.  But through it all, just remember not to lose the inability to connect to the world.  The people in your life are your crutches. Let them be there - heck, it’s free haha. If you continue fighting to avoid the reality and tell yourself “time will heal it,” let me tell you now - it will only make it hurt longer.  Time will always heal, but might as well use your time efficiently.  Confronting it and dealing with it will only give you more time to start off that clean slate of yours.  So start taking those steps forward, but maybe take those bigger harder steps instead of the small easy steps. To anyone feel
